About Us
Born and raised on California’s Central Coast, this spice blend is as much a part of my story as the place I call home. I first started crafting it back in 1993 while attending Atascadero High School, experimenting with flavors that captured the spirit of the region. Decades later, I’ve stayed true to that original craft, refining a blend that reflects a lifetime of tradition and pride.
Growing up, Santa Maria–style BBQ was more than just food, it was a way of life. From picnics to car shows and every gathering in between, the table was always filled with tri-tip, chicken, ranch beans, fresh salad, corn, and garlic bread. Those flavors shaped this spice and the memories behind it.
Our hope is that every shake of this blend brings you a taste of the Central Coast, our home, full of character, tradition, and the kind of flavor that brings people together.
